Nativity

I have been putting up Christmas decorations the past few days, and Brooklyn has been really excited about the Nativity sets. She's the Queen of Imagination and has been overlapping the story of baby Jesus with bits and pieces of her world.

I happened to catch a snippet of her conversation as I was tinkering with things. When I absorbed the actual words she was saying, or rather, that Mary was saying to baby Jesus, I grabbed my camera and tried to capture the spirit of the moment. Granted, in this picture, she no longer is holding Mary, but when she was, this is what Mary was saying to her baby Jesus:

"I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be."

Out of the mouth of babes.

    Oh that was one of my favorite books as a child. I read it to my girls all the time!
