One thing that needed change was the lighting in our breakfast room.

We'd had an Ikea light fixture that suddenly died one day, and rather than replace it with just any old light, I took my time finding one that I loved. Using a single bulb temporary light in the meantime.

While I searched for the perfect light, eventually found it, ordered it and waited for its arrival, we painted the breakfast room a pale green color that I love! It's called Theresa's Green.

It looks amazing with the hardwood floors.

The new light, ordered from Brooklyn, NY, came in and looked every bit as great as I'd hoped. 

I loved the brass against the pale green walls!
