On October 9, 9:09 pm, Anna and Zach welcomed their first child, daughter Avery Jane, into the world. She gave her mother a not too terrible time - for a first delivery! Anna made it look pretty easy, from what Zach said.

Avery weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long - not bad for being 2 weeks early! She has a head full of black hair which didn't surprise Anna at all! She'd had horrible heartburn and indigestion for months now...we suspected her little gal would have more hair than her cousins. She is absolutely lovely...I will post more pictures in the next few days. But here she is merely an hour or two old.

Anna has officially joined the ranks of motherhood. Welcome, sweet sister!
