I wish we maintained this perfection of skin tone, this dewey translucence and sheer flawlessness forever! But alas, we have to look back at our own baby pictures to reassure ourselves that we did, at one time, possess such perfect skin. So rather than glower at my 30 year old skin in the mirror, I'll lose myself in the sweet soft, 20 month old skin of my baby girl (much like watching a movie and feeling like you are, in fact, the heroine- until you get back home and see that, nope, it's just plain ole you).
