Just wanted to announce the birth of Nicholas Eli, born to one of my bestest friends, Emily. She and her husband, Brent, welcomed their 3rd child into the world yesterday. He was 21 inches long and weighed 7 lb. 1 oz.

He wasn't scheduled to be born until next Monday - she had to have a C-section, but God had other plans. He thought it would be better if Eli were born yesterday, which coincidentally is the anniversary of Emily's father's death. God knew that the birth of a precious child could both honor the passing of their beloved dad and give that date new, joyful meaning. Praise the Lord!
