Using the same hat pattern as with Brooklyn's, I whipped this up for August.

What I can't decide (even after polling Kyle, August and Brooklyn) is whether this hat needs earflaps like Brooklyn's. I was planning to make them using the same grey yarn as the border.

But since the hat already clearly covers his ears, would earflaps be superfluous? Or would they enhance the hat's cuteness? Kyle says earflaps. I'm torn. Any thoughts?
