But so far, no rivalry. Just lots of love. And the occasional matching (sort of) pj's. I just got August these precious little sheep pjs (100% organic cotton) from Hanna Anderson. The same day, we get two wonderful bags of clothing for Brooklyn from a friend from work. One of these bags contains some Nick & Nora sheep pj's about which Brooklyn is thrilled to bits. Coincidentally, I dress them both up in their new duds and they match. Again, sort of.

Brooklyn, an AVID (and that may be slightly underestimating it) fan of Babe, the movie which we also refer to around here as "PIG", looks at the sheep and says, "Baa, Ram, Ewe!" For those of you who have no idea what that means, it's the beginning of the secret sheep creed used by Babe to coerce sheep to follow his instructions as a sheep pig. Brooklyn sees a sheep and thinks, sheep code.

There is no shortage of energy or love between my two precious little ones. And for that, I am grateful. Oh, and while these pictures were taken, I was also sleeping. But just a few extra winks. Kyle does love me.
